The Ucal McKenzie Breakaway Foundation

Over 60 parents and students attended College Night 2010, an interactive panel discussion covering topics related to preparing junior high and high school student athletes for their college experience.

The Breakaway Foundation, Valeo Futbol Academy/VFC Blast, and The Sport Source co-hosted the event. The seminar was moderated Director of College Planning and Placement and Charlie Kadupski, founder and CEO of The Sport Source. Panel Members included by US Soccer recruiter and former Head Coach of Holy Cross Mens Soccer, Elvis Comrie, Neil Roberts, Mens Soccer Head Coach at Boston University, and Justin Sepone, Mens Soccer Head Coach at UMass Amherst. The seminar was a thorough education in recruiting, training, admissions, academics, athletics and all facets of the collegiate experience. High school athletes and their parents had an opportunity to meet with local college coaches panel, and academic advisors and discuss how to identify the school that best matched their needs, learn about the best ways to apply to and get into college, how to pay for it.
